Career Expo (2/09/10)Sponsored by the Center for Advising and Career Development, the WSU Career Expo provides students with the opportunity to connect with recruiters from top companies and graduate schools from across the nation. Students from all majors and all grade levels are invited to attend to access hundreds of full-time, internship, and graduate school opportunities. The economy may be going through a difficult time, but employers continue to participate in on-campus career fairs and job opportunities are still available to graduates. AAEE Job FairAmerican Association for Employment in Education:
The job fair is a 3-hour meet-and-greet opportunity for you and recruiters from across the country to discuss opportunities. Formal interviews and/or contract offers are not typical during the event, but you will have the opportunity to discuss future positions and your potential for finding the perfect position for you. Location: Denver COAlaska Teacher Placement: Job fairs are a major part of recruitment for educators in Alaska. ATP hosts two job fairs annually, one in Anchorage and one in Minneapolis, and rents booths at several more throughout the U.S. The majority of educator job fairs nation-wide are held in March and April, at the height of the recruitment season.
